This chapter is about how to integrate a stream and set it live.
In case you have a main stage with a live stream, you need to set it live on the app once your stream is up and running. You can do that directly from the application on the Main Stage pane. Check the video below for more details.
Please note that it can take up to some seconds to have the stream being played to all users. We strongly recommend that you follow this order of steps when going live:
- Set your live stream to a splash screen or small welcome video
- Go live on your streaming tool (like Restream or Vmix)
- Go live on Virtual Events
- Start your show!
Usually, there are some seconds of delay between your stream and what the participants are watching, so before turning off your stream, give some seconds after the show has ended with a splash screen until it ends on Virtual Events as well; otherwise, your attendees may miss part of the show. After it has finished, you can stop the live on Virtual Events and then stop the stream.
