If the "anonymous switch" is enabled, anyone can enter to the event without having to login or to set a profile. An automatic random participant number will be assigned to them (as the name in the attendee profile).
You can enable the "anonymous mode" switch in the "Access Control" section
To see the switch, either the "Guest list" checkbox has to be unchecked, or the "Free access" checkbox has to be checked.
Make sure "Name" is the only required field on the "Attendee profile", otherwise entering users will be asked to fill this before they can enter. You can see and edit the "Attendee profile" via the according button in the "Attendees" section.
