Personalizing Calendar Invites for Event Participants

We are thrilled to introduce a new feature that enables you to personalize the content of calendar invites sent to participants.

This feature applies to both registration emails and invite emails from the guest list. With this enhancement, you can now customize the calendar invite providing a personalized touch to your event communications.

Activating Personalized Calendar Invite Description:

This allows you to input your desired text, which will be included in the calendar invites sent to participants.

To activate this feature, follow these instructions:

1. In the email editor (registration email and/or invite email), locate the section labeled "Customize Calendar Invite Description (ics.)."
2. Enable the option to include a custom calendar invite description
3. Input the text that you wish to appear in the calendar invites, providing participants with additional event context or instructions

Attention: The use of hyperlinks is strongly discouraged, as it leads to complications when displayed on Appel devices. We recommend using the placeholder brackets, which are also used in the invite emails, or inserting the link directly.

Please note that if no custom calendar invite content is specified, the system will default to including the event description in the calendar invites.
